MGF Abingdon 1.8VVC - NOW SOLD

Post by Shinerr » Fri Sep 10, 2021 9:04 am

For Sale
MGF Abingdon 1.8VVC 1998
Was my daily transport then Sorned in Sept 2017 and been in dry storage ever since. I now need the space and have too many cars so it has to go. Although the mileage is high 101000 it had a complete new engine fitted by the main dealer at 53000 at a cost of £3K. Since then, most of its miles have been on the M5 but it has been to France, Spain and Italy. I have the original bill of sale £23K. Two owners from new, I bought it from a mate in 2010. Until then, it had always been serviced by SMG Rover of Bristol. All of the usual stuff has been done with thousands spent and it had new Radiator and Pipes in 2016, new tan hood and It still has the original Tonneau and bag, two sets of keys and all original booklets and an the original MG radio that plays cassettes! No current MOT

I was interested in this car but the mileage is to high for me and the poor Mot history, for a car thats had thousands spent on it I do not understand why has it failed almost every Mot that is has been presented to ?
