MGF project to go

After much soul searching and the fact these are not rare, I have decided the MGF project has to go. The fuel pump went, so I started stripping it to see if I could add 4" to the tub length so I could drive it, but got bored and sold the front wings and drivers door, therefore it is now incomplete. It has a good 1800 K-series with no head gasket issues, good G/Box, aircon pump, exhaust, good set of minilites. Subframes / suspension / hubs / halfshafts all ok. It is a P reg, so its an early one.Image [/img]https://www.flickr.com/photos/197128954 ... ed-public/[/img] [/img]https://www.flickr.com/photos/197128954 ... ed-public/[/img] [/img]https://www.flickr.com/photos/197128954 ... ed-public/[/img] [/img]https://www.flickr.com/photos/197128954 ... ed-public/[/img]

Is this still around? It looks as though it is pre-2001 - is that correct?

Afraid not, it's an early Japanese re-import air.con. 120bhp pre-vvc type

I had no idea this car was still available! Shame - if nothing else, it would have been a great parts vehicle.

Sad that no one was able to take this car from you :( [Project Shed started from a base car that was far worse than this!]

Its sad that no one has taken it on as a restoration project.

That said, I'll buy the column and EPAS gear if you are inclined to strip anything off it before it is weighed in.

It seems a pity to let it go to the scrappy when there are people here who would be interested in buying it as a cheap project or to use parts for other Fs.

If you need an EPAS column, drop me a message - I have a spare :)
