MGF 1.8 mpi FOR SALE **NOW SOLD**

I'm selling my 2001 MGF (BJ51 TMY).
The car is in lovely tahiti blue and features on the forum home page, please see attached photo. More photos to follow.
The car was purchased a couple of years ago from the well respected Church Square Autos (CSA), the MGF/TF specialists.
It was in good condition at time of purchase and has been improved since.
Improvements/upgrades include:
Replacement hydragas units (4) fitted by Hydragas and Hydrolastic suspension service and repair specialists (hahsltd.co.uk)
Replacement clutch
Underside pipes replaced with stainless steel
BAS glass rear screen recently fitted to hood (hood in vgc)
Alloy wheels refurbished
The car has done approx 83,000 miles and has an extensive service history from new. CSA carried out much of the servicing.
The car comes with a matching hard top.
MOT runs until June 2024
Considering the improvements made I believe the asking price is reasonable, but am open to offers.
The car can be viewed at my home address in Weymouth, Dorset. Weymouth can be reached by train if required.

If your MGF is still for sale, can you please let me know if the head gasket has been changed? and the date the cambelt was last changed.

Does it have any rust? particularly around the side air intakes and sills.

Thanks for your enquiry, yes the car is still for sale.
I can confirm that the head gasket was changed on 26th August 2020 by Church Square Autos at 80193 miles.
The cambelt was changed on 6th March 2020 also by Church Square Autos at 80146 miles.
No mention of rust on any of the MoTs. There's no rust on the areas you mention.

Wouldnt it be so much better if sellers advertising cars on the forum could provide feedback to advise what price they achieved at sale.
Instead these people all seem to just head for the hills as soon as they have made their sale which is a bit selfish.

It frankly wouldnt be much of an effort to make in return for the benefit of free advertising
