I have for sale a 2002 MGTF . I got this with the intention of a car for the summer , it came from a mate who had not used it for a couple of years . I wire brushed the underside, which is in very good condition & treated it with Lanogaurd . Suspension , steering & brakes were removed cleaned up & treated to discs & pads front & rear . Body work is very good with no rust but plenty of scratches etc cill ends are good . Wheels have kerb rash & could do with repainting tyres are all very good including spare . Roof is reasonable with no tears flexi back window is opaque but not torn, very good roof cover . Interior is good , drivers seat side bolster worn but not torn . Everything works as it should . Head gasket has been done & stainless coolant pipes fitted .New battery . Car passed MOT last week with 2 advisories (1) slight movement in rear wheel bearings (2) fraying on seat belt edges . I now find I have no parking space for car so I have decided to sell . This is a very usable car starts on the button every time & drives well. Looking for about £900 ONO. Car now gone to new owner a real bargain . Shame these cars are not popular I think this will change in time .

Did you have to take much of a dive on the selling price ?

I let it go for what it stood me in at which was not much different than breaker money . My time was lost but I am pleased with what I did with it & saved it from the scrappy . I think if I had kept it until spring a few people would be interested .

Well done for saving a good car. I am on my 2nd TF rescue and will probably go for a 3rd once my non TF project car is out of the way to create some space
