Selling my MGF 1.8i

Post by manstow » Mon May 24, 2010 4:53 pm

Hi guys,

new to this, and instead of just 'sellling' my MG to any buyer, thought id pop it on here:

70,000miles, Mg Mgf 1. 8i 2dr Convertible, 2 Doors, Manual, Convertible, Petrol, 1997 R Reg, RACING GREEN. Remote Locking, Front Electric Windows Sony Xplod CD Player, Alloy Wheels, Immobiliser, Sports Seats, Body Coloured Bumpers, Drivers Airbag, Front Head Restraints, loads of Service History, Sports, Petrol,2 keys.Only 2 owners, the previuos owner being a lady owner, all round good tires, engine and gear box in excellent condition, bodywork in good condition, very clean and tidy inside, 3 months TAX and 3 months MOT

only problem is, internal driverside door latch broke (cable just snapped)

im looking at round the £1000 mark O.N.O, would rather it went somewherem, with someone who cared

Picture i think ive added!!!

cheers guys

Ryan

I have coped the thread over on mgf.be forum they are certainly enthusiasts and its cheaper than MGF's over there (but steering wheel is on the wrong side for them, but you never know!!)

Now have two babies - and been so lucky to be able to keep the MG! Mind you, I did have a cunning plan involving a boot rack and a baby carrier. That got veto'd for some reason...

Sounds like a plan Colin .... but could you do it, cutting an F into two equal pieces ?

I am sure an enthusiast will pop his finger quite soon. An extra F/TF for that price is a great investment.
If I hadn't bougth another F early this year, I would be checking the Eurotunnel prices right now.

Well, Richard Hammond made a Stretched Limo out of an MGF, so surely a four seater shouldn't be too difficult? Been thinking about that idea - but not too seriously... I really don't have the space to start disassembling yet another MGF!

:D If you're looking for a four seater sporting coupe to drive the babies around then I have a Ford Cougar to exchange for your F? I'm certainly "enthusiastic" ;)

errrrrmmmmm.....

 thanks Rob - but no thanks! :thumbsu:

We're lucky - we have a 5-door estate car for the bambinos and their cobber - an MG ZTT!

It's a diesel mind you. What I'd really like is one of those very sensible ZTT 260s. You know, the ones with the nice Planet-hugging motors consisting of 4.6 litres of Detroit V8 eco-ness ;)
