Re: MG LIVE.. which day is best?
Of the two days, Saturday is the 'best value' in my mind as not only do you get the racing and MGLive show, you also get the After Hours included so you can party late into the night if you can stay that long.
I have not seen a full itinerary yet but most things that happen on the Saturday are repeated on the Sunday.
The differences that I can think off,
Saturday has the California Cup & Sunday the Auto solo. The sprint is only on the Sunday as is the Concours & POO.
Mike Brewer is only there on the Saturday whilst Ant Anstead is there on both days.
There is music this year on both day during the day. Different groups but similar styles.
Race wise - Saturday invited guests are the Porches. Sunday is the Masters pre66 Touring cars. The other races are split between the two days ... I think.
Sunday, is a shorter day and things start closing down around 4pm.

Re: MG LIVE.. which day is best?
Saturday is by far the better day (Especially if you are camping the night before).
As mentioned above, the 3rd party traders start to pack up around 2-3pm on Sunday, and with people leaving before that the displays begin to "break apart". Turn up early on the Saturday and do plenty of research from the website as to what is available and be sure to register for what you want to get involved in such as parade laps etc (as it isnt obvious on the day where things are if you are not familiar with the layout).
Do the above, and you will have a great day out.

Saturday. On the way you can find a Great Outdoors store and buy a tent to camp - I know, I did it!

After previous answers and head scratching for one reason or another it looks like Sunday for me due to the better weather forcast and quieter roads on the way down
Hood down all the way hopefully

Re: MG LIVE.. which day are you going?
I'd agree with the guys - if heading down for the one day only, go for a Saturday. But this year, owing to clashes, I am heading down for the Sunday only (to collect some parts - not racing this year!)
My preference is to head down on the Friday evening and then enjoy the spectacle from start to finish. First one in, last one out!
