Greetings all! New "f" owner here and my first MG altogether.
She's a 1999 Japanese imported VVC model with just under 44000 miles on the clock that I picked up for an absolute steal and have quickly fallen in love with her, placing her above my other projects.
So far treating her to New upper suspension arms with uprated Mike Satur Ball joints and Knuckle Joint Assembly to get it through its MOT then fitted Toyo Proxes all round.
I then got some Compomotive TH3-1570's to match
I would have preferred to go a little wider but having bought tires for the standard wheels limited my options.
Today I finished poly bushing the rear and I hope to start the front soon if the rain holds out.
My dad liked driving it so much he got one himself
I look forward to scrolling through the forum and seeing all your cars, who knows maybe covid will die down enough at some point that seeing them at a car show/meet will be possible

Re: Hello from Abingdon
Hi and welcome to the forum.
It must nice having a dad who is into cars, my dad liked to have a nice car, sometimes, but that was as far as it went.
My son on the other hand has just bought his step mums ZR160 and is rebuilding a classic mini. We were going to rebuild an F we got for nothing but it was too rotten in the end so he's been stripping it.
