I'm Rob Schmitt, I've had my MGF for around 15 years now - but over the last decade, it has not gotten the love it deserves - so it is paying me back... I'm located in Melbourne Australia (Hampton) - if there are others in the area with MGF 1997 VVC experience - I'd love to hear from you - especially if you have what is needed to interrogate an ECU.

Welcome, Rob.

I'm in Hoppers Crossing and I drive a 1999 VVC (currently undergoing suspension replacement). I've got aPscan so perhaps we could meet some time to check if you've got any error codes.

Cheers,

Edwin.

Edwin that would be great, yet the car is in Hampton (in between Brighton and Sandringham) - a good hours drive from your place - I wouldn't want to put you out. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to the forum

I would love to offer the services of my www.pscan.uk but I'm in the UK so it's a bit of a trek.

I am 20 minutes from Brighton but a good 3 hours from Sandringham, both in the UK obviously.

Thanks - but the drive is too challenging for me given that I'm in Hampton, Victoria, Australia :-)
