Re: Bootleg SCRR
All being well, I hope to see you for a drink, guys! I'm sorry I didn't get to the Sunday lunch to do some 'chip-nicking'...after two extremely long, eventful wedding shoots and the 'trauma' of splitting my front bumper courtesy of a suicidal pheasant on the drive down to Sussex on Friday morning, all I wanted to do on Sunday was get home, have a bath, remove the pheasant feathers from my split bumper, and go to beddybyes to catch up on some sleep!
Hope to see you all on the 10th! x

Re: Bootleg SCRR
Sounds like you've already plucked it Andie - if you could kindly 'oven ready' it as well, do bring it along on the tenth. No more jokes about well hung, I am just off beating!
But seriously good luck with your bumper and I would also be very interested in a plastic repairer who can make good old war wounds on my original bumper. HNY,
Charles

Hope the shoot went well, Charles...I used to go beating three times a week...!
As long as we don't have heavy snow and barring any unexpected photography bookings, I will be there...sans pheasant! Be prepared Alistair and co, I will expect a couple of late New Year/birthday hugs...!!! x

I am convinced that she does, James. Usual format, brill Fable roads, almost on your way home, nice drop of supper and customary good company - really hope to see you there!

Re: Bootleg SCRR
Hello and happy new year to you all.
Hopefully I will be able to get out of work and pop down the road to meet you all as it's just to the Bear and Staff.
Not been able to do much on the MG front lately due to other things so will look forward to it,
take care, Martin.

Re: Bootleg SCRR
Hello Mikef,
Great if you can pop along. The pub is near Michelmersh on the main A3057 Stockbridge to Romsey road, about three miles north of Romsey with lots of parking and used by several other car clubs. The road is a real treat for Fing and the food is fine with no need to book midweek. If you keep to the national speed limits you can't miss it. Hope to see you there,
Charles
PS Great if you can too, Martink

Re: Bootleg SCRR
A bit late - my laptop is still dead...
Just wanted to say how lovely it was to see you all on Thursday night! Thanks for trying to resuscitate my laptop, James... Was lovely to see Chrissie again! And I really enjoyed the hugs and kisses from you Belated birthday hug swap!), and from Alistair and Pete too! Was lovely to catch up with you all, and also great to see Charles and Bob too!
Sorry you weren't able to make it Mike...just spotted your thread re possible 'other' problems (can't even bring myself to mention the words). Hope that you get your TF back soon and make up for the bad start to 2008 with plenty of topless fun. Hope to meet you and also see the rest of the SCRR at another event very soon! x
