Sat 30th (was 9th) June'12 Classic Action Day Castle Combe

Colin,

I'm intending on coming to the castle coombe action day but never been before.I am not from your neck of the woods ,from the website it is unclear whether you can just turn up and park up and go round track without being part of a club stand.I notice there are a group of you going together ,if i turn up will i be able to park near other mgs or end up in a carpark?

yes you can park on the MGF Register clubstand but will have to pay on the gate. You can then goout on track with the others

Thanks Colin, I didnt remember this event early enough but will be there saturday,tried to book online but its too late now but will pay on the gate

To get on track it sounds like pre-booking is required though but i will get there early and give it a go.

What time do people turn up on the stand and where do i need to go to book track time? do i need a helmet?

CONGRATULATIONS MGF Register and MG Two-Sixties Club have won our Club draw for a FOC Exclusive Club Track Session, at our Classic Action Day on 30th June.


Please could you get all your Members, who would like to get out on Track for this Club Track Session, to attend your own Exclusive Briefing at 3.10pm, where they will be asked to sign the Indemnity Form and we will issue them with a Wrist Band, then we will direct you to your own area to queue for your Exclusive Track Session which will take place at 4pm.


I hope this will add to an enjoyable day for you and your members.

A really enjoyable day out ,looking at the mix of cars on show in the morning and watching some cars on track.First laps on track made for a fun end to the day.

Thanks for letting me tag along with you guys , always good to meet mg folk

only downside was the journey home through torrential rain(glad it wasnt like that when we were on track!)
