Another Good Summer Gathering from the MGCC South East Centre. This year it was held at Cobham Hall in Kent which provided a fantastic backdrop for the various shades of MG parked on the lawn in front of the house. The usual Centre activities were taking place including the Concours, POO , Autotests and Gymkhana and all well attended. There were two MGF/TF entries in the Premier Concours from Leslie  Miles and  Elaine Osborne who both lost out to John Heagren's multiple award winning MGA but Elaine made up for it in winning the MGCCSE Car of the show and also our own MGF/TF of the day. She had entered WOF51 not only for the road run and the autotest but also followed by the Concours competition !

Elsewhere South East Fs could be found including Adrian's in the Premier POO and Tim and Paul entering the Gymkhana  , and I suspect coming last again !

The Register held their annual summer games which this year included the usual Boules and Hoop la  and a new game of "Exterminate !" in which a radio controlled Dalek had to find the ten Doctors and exterminate them in order. Great fun to be had here and we had quite a few entries  - the results of all  our competitions can be found below.

The only significant rains came as we tried to negotiate the gymkhana course and a torrential downpour during the prizegiving kept everyone huddling under the gazebos but otherwise the sun was out and it was another very pleasant summer event.
