Autumn Trail Sunday 8th October 2006 We met up at Wray Lane Car Park in Reigate on a clear day, it's usually misty when we meet here !Six F/TFs ready to set off on Kevin's latest brain teaser. This one was a slightly simpler form as we set off on a scenic drive around the country lanes of Surrey looking for well posted clues en route. The tricky bit came with the added Highway Code motoring questions which sorted us all out. I'm still sure that David & Michelle went on their own hunt for a Highway Code book as they were last back in. Finish point was The Plough at Leigh and we all managed to squeeze into the tiny car park before having a splendid roast lunch. Welcome to Andre and Angie who were first timers on an SEF event - we hope to see you again soon.

Kempenrit 19th/20th August 2006 All the cars went through the South East to get to Dover for the ferry to Dunkirk so does it count as a South East event ? Probably not for that reason but I'll put it here as there were several southerners on the event amongst the thirty five cars that left the UK.

PUB MEET The Fairmile Cobham JULY 17th A small select gathering at the Fairmile pub in Cobham on this warn evening. The Fairmile is used by quite a few car clubs as a venue for meets and this Wednesday night saw no fewer then four clubs in the house !. We were joined by a good selection of early Porsches , the Triumph Stag owners club, a group of mini owners and an odd one or two US muscle cars. In fact there were so many it was a bit like a mini car show. Higlihgt of the F night was Adrian changing all the dull bolts under Tim's bonnet for nice new stainless Steel shiny ones - why it couldn't really amount to entering the darkside this was only the second addition to JayPeG since new to complement the chrome washer jets - there's radical for you !. Who looked at the cars at the Fairmile ? TimM, Adrian & Dawn, Paul B, Ian HJ.

| SPRING BOWLING CHALLENGE
Guildford Spectrum 4th May We had seven bowlers in the end who made it to the Guildford Spectrum for this year's Spring bowling challenge on a pleasant spring evening giving an opportunity for some hood down driving to the bowling alley. Neil thought about his taking his hard top off but didn't quite succeed !. Now the scooby has inherited the garage it's probably safer to leave the hard top on. Good to see Don again although he was sporting a Tennis Elbow it didn't stop him pipping the post in the overall scores !. Yes he even beat resident expert Kevin by a few points. Thanks to Neil, Adrian and Ralph for making a lengthy trip to get here but it was a pleasant night and a good evening's hard bowling !. What were the scores then - check the table on the right !
