MGCCSE AUTUMN NAVISCAT / SEF AUTUMN TRAIL

Sunday 14th October

About this time of year we normally have a treasure hunt / clue busting type event however this year Tim was organising the South East Centre's Autumn Naviscat so decided to combine the two events as one. A Naviscat can be a little more tricky than a simple treasure hunt so this was a challenge to be overcome by our intrepid South East Fers.

Who Plotted the clues ? Dave & Michele, MarcH , Rob & Elaine, Sally & John, Barry & Su

  SPRING BOWLING CHALLENGE

Thursday 22nd March

Spectrum, Guildford

The first Bowling challenge of 2007 took place at the Guildford Spectrum with seven bowlers entering in to the fray. Kevin (aka the Maverick) was top favourite being a team bowler and kindly agreed to a 30 point per game handicap which provided for a more even competition as he ended up 2nd overall. Sticky and unfamiliar lanes were to blame (mind you without the handicap he would have still won !). Nonetheless PaulB put in a sterling effort particularly in the second game and came through with top honours - well done Paul who is now the proud owner of an SEF First Place Certificate and hot favourite for overall prize. Competition for 5th and 6th place was keen between TimM and LizH and Liz just pipped two points ahead at the end.

Who Bowled ? TimM, Ian & LizH, Rob & Elaine, Paul B, Kevin

Who spectated ? LizM

STONELEIGH MG SHOW

Stoneleigh, Warwickshire

Sunday 25th February

A little off the South East area but there was a good showing of South East people at this year's show and it as particularly pleasing to see Colin WW make the trip after his New Year heart attack. Not the best of ways to start 2007 but glad to see he's on the mend.

SEFers I spotted - TimM, Paul B , Colin WW, Emma J, Adrian C, Richard, Gerry - I'm sure there were others that I missed

We had to fight for space off the smokers, kids eating chips , Discovery 3 owners and Corvette owners
