| WINTER WARMER RUN 08 "INSIDE THE CIRCLE" Sunday 30th November Another damp run but that only added to the interest on this late season run by providing at lease six mini lakes for us to splash through. Graham gave himself a great challenge in finding a route on country lanes inside the M25 but managed it with style. It was also our first run with an LE500 joining us. AUTUMN BOWLING CHALLENGE Spectrum Guildford Thursday 23rd October The autumn challenge was great fun down at the Spectrum. The Trophy Twins joined us for this session to add to the array of usual faces. Kev was given an increased handicap this time to try and even things out a little and we had a surprise winner who made a sprint finish in the form of Rob. EVENING MEET THE SURREY ARMS, NEWDIGATE Thursday 25th September We ventured out of North West Surrey for our September meet and whilst we weren't quite brave enough to leave the county altogether we did get close to the Sussex border at Newdigate. It proved to be a good venue, despite the Sat Navs taking us through some interesting lanes. We had a few new faces along as well as the regulars which was very pleasing. So welcome new people !! LAUNCH DAY LOLLOP Saturday 20th September We wanted to mark the official launch of the new MG LE500 in some way so decided on a trip around all three of the South East's new MG dealers to view their premises and have a look at the car. It turned out to be a very orange day! Thus began the Launch Day Lollop Who Lolloped? : TimM, Rob & Elaine, PaulB, Graham, JohnW, Dave & Michelle, Ralph.

MGFest08 25th & 26th July Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon The BIG MGF event of the year took place at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon. The South East were well represented and won both the regional competitions with our fantastic Team in the Team Games and the Best Dressed Paddock. The Paddock this year took on the guise of Marvel Garages with Kryptonite Tuning on offer and Services by the Incredible Hulk. A fantastic weekend in really hot sunshine again !. MGCCSE SUMMER GATHERING Sunday 20th July This year's event took place at Borde Hill Gardens in Sussex and the SEF group were there with our usual F Register stand , bolstered by new colourful flags, and the Summer Games. This year our variable game was radio controlled Tuk Tuk Racing. Thanks to all those who took part and to the prizewinners of course! | ROUTE OF THE RAJ Saturday 15th July This was our 5th Anniversary event and took the form of a Mystic trip through darkest Surrey where you could gain Mysticism by counting bridges until you got to the Gate. BOULES CHALLENGE The Bell, Godstone Monday 16th June We took on the MGCCSE at their annual Boules night at The Bell and did rather well. BASINGSTOKE FESTIVAL OF TRANSPORT Sunday 11th May Tahnkfully we had glorious sunshine this year as opposed to the thunder storms of 2007 ! With the sun out Basingstoke is a great relaxing event and we had the debut of the new MGF Register gazebo to celebrate as well. It also did a good job in keeping us in the shade.
