WHAT THEY
SAID ABOUT MGFEST08 !
"Thought that I'd drop you a line to say how much I
enjoyed the MGFest08 bash. The venue was perfect, as was the weather.
You must have pulled out all of the stops to get that organised. The
whole MGFest weekend is a credit to the MG Register and the many
volunteers that pitched in to make it an absolute joy to attend. I
can't thank you all enough. " Steve Groody via e-mail
"MGFest
war fantastisch" Claude

"Attended our second F fest on Sunday and wot a day it
was brilliant weather fantastic cars and nice location. Well done to all
volunteers and everybody involved" Paul 1957 X Power forum
"only went the Saturday, but
thoroughly enjoyed it. Top marks to all involved in the organisation"
Pete Vickerstaff
"Had a great weekend. Nice to see so many F's and
quite sad to see it no longer British owned. Above all, it gave me ideas
on how to customise my F. Thought the Sunday had more atmosphere for
some reason" Derben F Reg forum
"I went today, Sunday and
thought it was an excellent event, great cars and fantastic weather"

"I would like to say a very big thank you to the guys
who organised the event, had a really good weekend, weather was unreal
and this is my fault because I booked the week off of work. It was nice
to meet up with the legendary Scarlet Fever, the owner was a nice guy
too. Star of the show was Maxine 'The girl never stops smiling & having
fun from what I saw' If people didn't enjoy themselves then it was there
own fault !" Apollo F Reg Forum
"Had a great day and couldn't
believe it when I got the Pride Of Ownership trophy, I had a fantastic
day and fully intend to be back next year. Also joined the MGCC".
Dean Hems
"We attended the Fest on
Sunday and had a really good day meeting up with old friends and making
new. Would like to say a big thank you to and your committee for the
splendid organisation of this event. Don't know how you arranged for
such perfect weather it certainly worked". Gerald & Barbara Pratley
via e-mail
"I've never been before, so was
pleasantly surprised to be ushered down to the main building and then
presented with a parking space along with many other MGs. What surprised
me most was that there was only one other Mk2 ZS there!!!!. Made mine
look good , even though I had not prepped mine-only given it a wash."

Just a note to offer our thanks to you and your team
for a superb enjoyable weekend at Gaydon, I appreciate that much has to
be done both before and after the event, something that can be
overlooked by by the visitors so thanks again ( hope the legs are not
too sore this morning ).There was something ongoing to occupy us
throughout both days as well as the chance to catch up with fellow MG
owners, being a bit old we gave the musical evening a miss, no problem
with the type of music but we had just about run out of energy ! -

right for the event & hope to be with you next year" Peter Mason by

"Just got back from my first
Fest. Had a fantastic weekend and met some great people. Highlight for
me had to be the Saturday Run - did the Southern one. Great route with
some stunning scenery. Had a six car convoy going pretty much all the
way. I believe it got up to 12 at one point. Couldn't see that far back
as I was near the front. Really enjoyed it - the organisers played a
blinder." Sparky135 MG-Rover.org

road run on the saturday was awesome (last years run was good too) but
that's the best part of the fest." mgfdOOd mg-rover.org

it this year." Chris Tideswell
"It was quite busy but really
hot and sunny. Loads of F's etc and some stunning MG Metro Turbo's and
SV's there. One of the Metro Turbo's (a red and black one on an A plate)
was so clean it looked like it had been pushed out of the museum - not
driven up by it's owner as the info sign stated." Rapid Yellow X
