THE PEOPLE

The MGF Register organisers spend months in planning the event but if you don't turn up then all that effort will have been fruitless.

Thankfully you did turn up in numbers on a glorious weekend with around 700 cars over the two days. It was fantastic to see not only MGF/TFs but a good number of Zed cars and older MGS as well. In fact this year we deliberately emphasised that MGFest is not just for MGF/TF enthusiasts by giving pride of place in the Avenue to our ancestors and the most powerful production MGs the ZT 260's. We must remember that without those early MGs we wouldn't have the F/TFs that we love now.

Just a note to offer our thanks to you and your team for a superb enjoyable weekend at Gaydon, I appreciate that much has to be done both before and after the event, something that can be overlooked by by the visitors so thanks again ( hope the legs are not too sore this morning ).There was something ongoing to occupy us throughout both days as well as the chance to catch up with fellow MG owners, being a bit old we gave the musical evening a miss, no problem with the type of music but we had just about run out of energy ! - Chirstine & Art Jacks via e-mail

"Just got back from my first Fest. Had a fantastic weekend and met some great people. Highlight for me had to be the Saturday Run - did the Southern one. Great route with some stunning scenery.
