TF10 Brussels Motor Show
The Register is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the launch of the MGTF by visiting the Brussels Motor Show.
The plan is for 15 cars to travel across to the show, departing on the 14th January and returning on the 16th January. The Visit to the Motor Show will take place on the 15th January, exactly 10 years to the date of the launch.
The party will leave from Dover and will base itself in the town of Grimbergen, a few kiliometres north east of Brussels. Our friends in mgf.be have very kindly offered to host us and are arranging restaurants for the Saturday and Sunday nights.

This event is open initially to MG Car Club members only and will be limited to 15 cars.

STONELEIGH 12
Why not stay over the night before and then visit the MG International Spares and Show day at the National Agricultural Showground in Stoneleigh as the season opener for the MG world. The usual array of MG traders and club displays awaits you. We'll be there with the first of our 10th anniversary displays for the MGTF.

Chairman's Charity Weekend and AGM

A feature weekend with an aim to raise money for the Register's supported charity for 2012 - Whizz Kidz. It comes in three parts and we hope that you will join us for all three:-
Saturday :- Join us at Kimber House at 14:00 for our AGM and a look around Kimber House. Free entry.
Informal evening dinner at the Ock Mill, Abingdon.
Sunday:- Charity run from Abingdon to Bletchley Park. £29 per Double passenger car, £17 per single driver.

MGCC Race Series
Donington Park
The first round of this years Race Championship meetings.
We are supporting the Church Square Autos Racing Red and other team cars in the MGCC Trophy Championships.
We'll also be supporting the Luffield team of two LE500s and Mike Rouse in the Cockshoot Cup.
You'll be able to recognise them as they'll all be sporting MGF Register stickers.

Sunday 8th April
Brooklands MG Day
We'll be making our annual return to the spiritual home of MG, Brooklands in Surrey.
There is usually a very good MGF/TF turnout at the historic race track so lets hope 2011 follows suit.
Normal admission prices apply but enter via the Brooklands entrance if you are in your MGF/TF to park on the museum site. DO NOT Follow the brown museum signs.

Saturday 14th April
Pride of Longbridge
MGTF 10 display
This annual rally take place right opposite the Longbridge factory in Cofton Park.
Traditionally it has been in support of the Rover Community made redundant following the closure in 2005. However now it is being run by the Austin Federation and is a celebration of all things Longbridge from Austins to MGs. Expect a large turn out of MG Rover era vehicles including the Register who will have a stand here.

Highlander 2012
Our perennial Scottish Highlander event takes place on the 1st weekend in May.
There will be two day runs into the highlands as well as convivial company at the Scotlands Hotel from our host MGF Freedom group.

Brands Hatch
This is the 2nd race event in the MG Car Club Championship series.
Come along and see how the Trophy guys get on if you're not going to the Highlander!

Donington Historical Festival
A new event to the Register is this fairly new event. This is only the 2nd year of the Festival. As well as more than 300 world-class historic racing cars competing flat-out on the Donington circuit, the 2012 event will see 100s of classic cars on display, plus a trade village and plenty of off-track entertainment, including historic karting, taking place on a specially laid-out circuit using the Donington GP loop.
Car clubs are more than welcome to the event and we will have our own discount code for tickets giving a major saving on the admission price. Camping over the weekend is available just next store to the circuit.

Abingdon Country Fayre and Air
Show
Join us and the Abingdon Works Centre in a rally on the Country Fayre site whilst sitting back and watching the aircraft overhead. It's a big show with lots of non MG folk around but lots of other cars and side stalls, arena events etc.
Pay on the gate and look out for any regional runs in to the event on our forum

Cholmondeley Pageant of Power
This annual event keeps building and is turning into the north's answer to the Goodwood Festival of Speed...and they allow clubs to pitch up for trackside seats!
The Register will have it's own paddock so join us for a weekend of camping and some high speed exploits.

Join the Register at this premier MGCC International weekend held at Silverstone Race Circuit.
MGF Register display and dedicated F/TF parking. Stay the weekend and camp with us on the campsite. When you book your camping spot mention the MGF Register to camp with us.

European Event of the Year
The premier MGCC European event takes place at Ronnesby, Sweden.
The MGF Register supports the event but there is no separate run or MGF activities planned other than those involved in the event itself.

The fouth round of this years Race Championship meetings.
Hopefully we will be meeting up with the North West area members again for a fun filled day of racing.

Yorkshire Weekender
This will be our National event for 2012 and is based at the Ripon Spa Hotel and is been organised by one of our newest regions, The Yorkshire Region.
There will be a Dales run on the Saturday [about 100 miles] and a shorter, half day run on the Sunday [about 50 miles]

The fifth round of this years Race Championship meetings.
The MGCC had a very successful race meeting at Thruxton in 2011. Hopefully 2012 will be as good. The racing was well supported by local MGF Register members so hopefully we will see you there this year.
