Where abouts are you? Is it possible to take a look?

I have a COF car I am looking at dismantling, the bonnet is good apart from a small ding that would probably come out with a paintless dent removal, let me know if it is of any interest - the wing has the beginning of the dreaded bubble so you would be better off elsewhere on that one!

Great thanks for that, the newer one also seems to connect further up the door so I will just splice the cables and give some to spare....

You guys sure about plain black?? Looks like a metallic anthracite type to me......... or someone before me could have painted it that way??

I need to replace the window motor in a Mk 2 MGF as water ingress has dealt with it! I have started to strip a Mk1 door to find the connector from motor to look is different. Can anyone tell me if I can just change the connector and use the older motor in the newer door before I go any further?? Tha...

I want to add power steering - apart from the column will I need a part loom or will it be already in palace in a 98 year car?? Has anyone done a HOW TO that I could look at??

Saddo update, now bought 3 ....... The first Tahiti blue non power steering cream interior, The second was for spares for the first Tahiti blue again, but was too good to use (smashed front end but two tone brown interior, ABS, power steering, upgraded stereo etc.) So the third in line was for spare...

Need to do the niggly bits now on early car! Does anyone have a reasonable short gearchange cable I can wrestle with to replace the broken one in mine? I also need a lower speedo cable and a N/S headlight, Oh and 4 wheelnuts as some muppet has lost the socket for the locking nuts

Just whilst you are looking any chance of either a lower speedo cable (or all parts) or a short (lower) gear change cable oh and whilst asking a N/S passenger headlight??

Nearly completed works on a 98 Mpi for its MOT to find the bonnet cable has come loose/off. I see on the site that there are suggestions of how the bonnet can be released but nothing published - how do I go about finding out?? Frustrated of Derby!
