After 2 years SORNED in the garage, charged the battery, started up, down for the MOT, passed.

I did! It's the one underneath, pointing down - not enough room to get a spanner or socket wrench to it from above. Several scraped knuckles later I put it on the ramps and went upwards!Why didn't you take off the engine cover?
