Thanks Adrian, it turned out that the radio coding was the least of my problems, had HGF along with rotten cooling pipes 2 border line legal rear tyres, water pump, brake light bulb and sunvisor also 72k service (only done 38k though)!! just over 2k to get it all fixed NOW i can get the radio sorted...

Had the car from new so codes are correct have used them before,maybe I have put them in wrong?? when/if it clears again I will have the codes in front of me to ensure I put them in correctly.... heres hoping

My battery went totally dead when I tried to start her today, result, Radio not working so I followed the instruction manual about putting in the codes (luckily I still have them!!) instead of gettong the message sazxfkj;jddf I had "waiting 1" about an hour later it asked me for the codes again then...

I have GreenStuff pads fitted on my 160 they do not produce as much dust but still squeal occassionally, best way to get rid of this I find is to strip the pads out and use a toothbrush to "carefully" clean away the dust trapped in the calipers, when refitting the pads used a bit of copper grease on...
