Re: Ignition fed circuit
The radio had crossed my mind and is easy to piggy back off. I will have a look at under the dash tho. Thanks both! Oh and it is a dash cam not a days cam! I should check the spelling before posting! I got a Nextbase 302G from the Bay if anyone is interested for £31.99 delivered. Looks like it will ...

Ignition fed circuit
I am fitting a days cam in my TF and have found the cigarette lighter is permanently live. I want to tap into an ignition fed circuit so it only comes on when the ignition is either at ACC or on. What's the best circuit to use?

I'm always late for things like these! Whereabouts in West Yorkshire are you? I know Daz has said he wants it but if it still available I am interested!

Re: Lucas 5AS fob programming
I was hoping to find someone but doesn't look likely. Now do I just need the 5AS module and fobs or do I need the engine ECU as well?

Lucas 5AS fob programming
Bit of a long shot but is there anyone in/near Norfolk who can programme 5AS fobs? I want to get a spare as I only have one but can't really send my unit away to have it done. I also can't get to the South coast for Technozen to do it either. Anyone?

Re: Trophy Mpg
Just filled mine up - 50 litres over 372 miles = 33mpg. Not as good as I'd hoped but that is mainly commuting with a mix of 20/30 speed limits and dual carriageway.

Re: Cold air feed
Hi no I mean the front one which faces the passenger seat. Looking at an exploded view it seems there should be an angled pipe with a trumpet on which goes down towards the bottom of the car. I have measured the hole and it appears to be 65mm internal diameter. I was hoping I might be able to get so...

Cold air feed
I am missing the front cold air feed off my airbox in my TF. Does anyone know what diameter the hole is? I don't want to take the engine cover off just to measure it but if I have to I will!

Re: Faint fuel smell
Don't know asI haven't done many miles in it. It happens under acceleration and not when stationary. Presumably it is easy to clean the vent in the cap?

Faint fuel smell
Right just got the TF on the road this week after doing a few (!) bits to it - none engine/fuel related. Anyhow I get a faint petrol smell if I use a large throttle opening which seems slightly strange to me. Since I have had the hood down each time I am not sure if it is unburnt petrol from the exh...

Re: Brake pipes
It's an 03 and has done 60k. To be honest I was thinking that changing the lot would be easiest and makes sure things are ok.

Brake pipes
I need to replace the front brake pipes on my TF but they are rather rusted in place. Does anyone have any ideas how I can remove the pipes from the flexi pipe so I can reuse the flexi? I don't really want to buy new flexi hoses but think I may have no choice!

Brake pipes
I think I may need to renew the front brake pipes on my TF for the MOT. Has anyone used mgfandtfparts.co.uk for theirs? They do a front half car set (amongst others) for a reasonable £35 inc postage. Seems like good value. Anyone used them?

Hi and welcome. Do you have a tonneau cover by any chance?
