Re: Hood Stowage cover lining
thanks for your replies. It looks like there is no easy fix My cover is perfect other than the lining. This morning i completely removed the lining and what foam was still there, easily brushed off the cover. I was wondering what the lining did ? It presumably protects the cover where it touches the...

This is a original cover so i assume the foam is 20 years old..Problem foam is breaking down into a fine light brown dust that gets absolutely everywhere. Is there anything that could be sprayed into the lining or has anyone re...

Re: MGF MY2000 engine tappity noise!
good morning
An engineer who knows more than i do advised me to run up the vvc engine every couple of weeks when sornd.
That may be overkill, but i had no problems after a lay-off

Re: engine stabilizer
hi again many thanks again your help. I think my confusion originated from the 'elise; description of the part. I was looking for replacement bushes for the stabilizer which are not available from mg. They are from Lotus but they call it the 'upper' arm I think that is mystery solved Thanks again tony

Re: engine stabilizer
thanks your reply
the part number in the rimmer book is kkh100782. This is the same part as fitted to the elise and called the upper or toorque reaction steady.
Maybe it is only fitted to TFs as opposed to Fs. Mine is an F
Thanks again

Re: coolant leak
hi charles
thanks your reply. It is definitely the OAT antifreeze mix
It is loosing this while the engine is not running.. If it was the head gasket i would guess it would pump out more
when the engine is hot and running. I think some further investigation will be in order
