Re: Any Test drive volunteers?

Hi, My mk1 F has all the freestyle goodies (+ a few extra bits) and has a mildly tuned 143 VVC engine (its running 161 BHP) with induction kit, exhaust, 52mm throttle body etc. and adjustable shock absorbers and 4 pot brakes etc. I'm in Northampton, so if you want to see what a slightly tweaked F ca...

Re: Door stripes/decals

I have a set of door decals on my F, they're not too bad to fit. if you want to PM me I can send you details of where I got them from or I believe Sterling automotive do them, but they cost a lot more than I paid for mine... http://forums.mg-rover.org/picture.php?albumid=108&pictureid=8658 http://fo...

Re: Emissions Check Fail - Possible Causes I think are:

Well worth chucking in some cleaner, I used a Millars additive and took it for a good blast prior to the test, that made the difference between my previous fail (thursday ) and a pass (the following Monday).

Re: Look what I've bought . . .

Ooh reminds me of my dads old 2 door 1300 MG (he always said it was pretty rare), which he bunged a straight through centre exhaust on a blueprinted head and some other trickery - It was a beast in a sort of Burgandy colour, he used to like trouncing capri drivers in it back in the 70's / early eigh...

seat lowering kit

Okay then, I've just fitted the seat loweriing kit to my drivers side seat, and must admit it's made a difference (or is it just I've got heavier  ) Anyway I cant see the point in fitting it to the passengers side as the rest of my family are short @rses.. So I've got a spare seats worth of low...

Stu it's either a case of great minds, or fools seldom differing? :? Seriously I'm running out of things to do that are within my budget, just got to get an enclosed induction kit left and that's about it...need a new set of Toyos before that though. I'll be there, nothing to do with 'room availability', just feeling guilty having stupidly missed the Oxford meet last Saturday. I want to show off my Trophy rear spoiler and 52mm throttle body courtesy of the Stoneliegh show :P .... and see what Stu has done to his F 8-)

Oh right I get you sorry I thought you were having probs with the bumper... . To remove the wheel arch liners on my F I did it by starting at the bottom corner nearest the rear bumper, pushing it in a little and then getting a finger under the liner pulling a small portion out past the lip an...

Yup I reckon fitting a super charger, 4 wheel drive system, lambo doors and the nitrous will take you a bit longer - they are my guesses at your secret mods, anything less and we'll be disapointed!
