I presume this is a modern ZS rather than a ZS from the early 2000's? Are the scratches from washing the car or from stones being thrown up by other cars?

A strap that goes over the window zip half way along. Not sure of the purpose, but there should be a corresponding piece of Velcro on the opposite side of the zip. It maybe to hold the window up whilst the zip is being pulled across ~ I have never managed to fathom why it's there! A strap about 5cm ...

I think it's unlikely that you will find a new clock, so a good used one is probably the best option. As far as I can recall the connections are teh same on an F and TF clock.

F or TF? They could be from the bolts that hold the bumper on.

Try simple things first. Fit a new genuine expansion cap. They are known to fail.

I believe they are now called Toyosport. There was a post on the Register Facebook page earlier today asking a question comparing them against another make.

I'm sure you will have done, but have you resynced the fob to the car after replacing the battery?
