I know if I worthy to say "and welcome" yet as I only joined recently.

I would also suggest the squel is proberbly the alternator if the car has been standing for a while, I'd give the battery a charge from a charger to bring it up to full and see if that helps.

There is a guy at http://reidyremaps.co.uk/ who does live mapping and brings everything togeather nicely, he's done several KV6's and is highly recomended on the MGZS forum.

We are looking for a cheapish MGF as our first venture into 2 seaters.

As we already have a MGZS180 (V6) and a MGZR160 (VVC) naturally we were going for a VVC, however there are many more of the non VVC's available in our price range so I was wondering how much difference it will actually make.
