Re: Brooklands New Year Bash

Sorry I wasn't able to attend. One of my dogs was spayed just before Christmas, and she decided to start chewing at the stitches last night. We had to stay at home to stop further chewing as she won't wear a 'lamp shade'.

Con rods will only be available as an aftermarket item. The MG Rover pistons come pre-assembled with the con rods.

Hydragas suspension pump up

I own a liquid levers hydragas pump (I bought it prior to setting up the garage) and can offer MGF suspension height adjustment for £30 within 30 miles of Sittingbourne. Beyond this, the price is subject to mileage adjustment.

If anyone wants any of the parts in stock prior to our final closure, we can do some fairly hefty discounts. Collection only from ...

Yes, it was a brilliant location for the event. Unfortunately, I didn't really get a chance to wander around and speak to people.

BTW I also won a prize - best post 2000 MG ;)

Re: hi there from SE London

Blaze red (orange) was used on MG Bs in the early '70s. It may be a close match to Volcano, or the car may have been resprayed/been a special order under the Monogram programme.

BTW the race car in my avatar is Volcano.

If you're anywhere near Sittingbourne, we'll replace the wheel bearing for approximately £120 inclusive of VAT (forum member price) using a genuine MGR bearing.

The works have now been completed and the car is ready for collection (left a message on the answer phone). Final price is well under half the price quoted by the other garage :D
