Re: Chinese-era TF Engine Numbers
My 2010 135
VIN; SDPRDHBKC8D000773
ENGINE; 18N4S2*8000463* note * is a star symbol and the S is definitely a S and not a 5.
Both the numbers are the actual numbers on the car.
The numbers on the V5 are the same except the engine is shown as 18N4S28000463 (no stars)

Re: 1.5mm Wheel Spacers
The other way is to fit large washers - preferably stainless steel to avoid corrosion, over each of the wheel studs, just make sure they are all the same thickness. The shape of the wheel interface more or less suits this technique.

Here is a ScanGauge II custom installed in my F. The device also has a Trip meter feature, the RH switch has a finger depending from so as to operate the Zero-trip button, great when us a route book.I have also got the same device fitted into a TF in the same way.

A postponement till Sept 25, with tomorrow cancelled, sounds a good idea to me in view of the weather.

Re: Age is just a number...or is it?
I passed my driving test 51 years ago. Lost count of the cars I have had, the first were pre ww2. Have three cars at the moment, one small petrol for local run-around, one diesel for long haul motor-way runs and one to enjoy.

Hi Trainer.
I have one you can have, you will need to paint it - an aerosol can will do it, and get some nuts, screws and washers to fix it on. I am along the Dartmouth Road just before Churston Library, you should find me in the phone book.

Re: Look what I made - expansion tank cap tester
After fitting a new header tank cap gotten from Halfraulds some time ago for my wife's Rover 25 the fluid level started to go down abit which made me suspicious of a poor relief setting and so made a similar test apparatus so that I could do regular checks on both my F and 25.
