So were we but didn't see you John, what a great event, went years ago and thought it was about time for another visit, the Wild Life bit is very much improved.
Next day we visited Basildon Park NT House & Gardens (second pic) - well worth the visit.

This in case we would like to try another venue, hopefully, it is still geographically OK for us. We have been to this pub a few times now with my 'other' MG club and have found it excellent. Basically, it is a very good carvery with amazing deserts AND very cheap, so very popular. and I believe run...

Am a little doubtful about that evening as I want to attend a re-union at Farnborough that afternoon, hope you can keep a spare seat or two for us. Will firm up nearer the time.
