well they are totaly diferent . and suspect the gov one is right. some of my warning lights dont come on when swiching on ignition and aa one says that will fail but i can find no mention of this on the one you sent also it says in the aa one washer and self leveling required with HID lights and gov...

Untill the insurance c/o find out when you have crashed it . then you get a bill and loose your house and everything else you have worked so hard to build up over the years. i suspect many cars have diferent engines fitted and nothing declaired about this and second hand parts fitted from vairious places . so the only check must be the chassie number , and many cars have been reshelled.

the problem is most likly to be where the earth joines onto the car not the terminal on the battery .

sounds like a bad earth ... and it is amasing how many electrical faults there seems to be popping up this last week or so .
