Davin,

Sunstorm LE is right for your TF 115 with that VIN.
She left the assembly line on 2 July 2004.

Re: front indicator clips

Theres a better fix for broken clips. Apology, text in German only but the pictures in that pdf file speak for themself. http://www.mgboard.de/download/file.php?id=2811 Use a sheet metal nut (speed nut ?) of the size 10x15mm . Bend it open to an angle of app 45° and screw it on as shown in the pictu...

Re: Fitting new F dampers

Why not, but breaking lower screws were never a problem at old MGF. Though we have seen the bolt breaking at a TF recently. I used a belt-type oil filter remover - did the job really nicely. I really must get round to writing a "how-to"! Some pics of the belt oil filter remover action are shown in t...

Re: MGF Trophy 160SE numbers built?

Good point with the mistake. Bad news though. The problem with this data base is, they have had no cicode for Luxembourg. So impossible to split them correct. May be Erik or Pascal knows how they did the import, cause it looks like all went through the importer in Belgium. Thank you for sharing #2/7...

Re: Chinese-era TF Engine Numbers

Had some Emails with Art Jacks about his former and current MGs. His latest white MG TF 135 is VIN AD001139. The sticker on the cam cover reads 18N4S2*A002539* So for my understanding everything with 18N4 5 2yxxxxxx is a typo. No idea from my side about the new meaning of the former engine type 3 di...

Re: Chinese-era TF Engine Numbers

Martin, Rob, thank you for looking to the subject directly. No idea about the asterisk. Anyway, I know about several typos in the paperwork from earlier V5. I don't believe what's written to the V5, cause there is "someone" between the factory and the generator of the V5. The S, followed by two figu...

Re: Chinese-era TF Engine Numbers

Rob, I've got only one engine number from a LE500 (export to NL) from Ad. 18N4528 000378 ... shows obviously the same typo and may be 18N4 S 28 000378 . Me again. Ad has just sent the original V5 doc of the above mentioned LE500 as copy to me. That prooves: no typo. The engine number is printed the...
