Agreed, the lack of a banner was a big problem. Other than this though it was an excellent day :D

Re: FAO Kieron and whoever else is interested in its whereabouts

No real idea mate, but at a guess, i reckon probably £750.00 to a grand per panel. Bonnet Front bumper Front Wings Cills / Rear wings Rear bumper Quite a lot of dough and no mistake. But sell a complete kit for circa £1500 to £2000 and you only need sell a few to recoup your outlay. I reckon this ki...

Re: FAO Kieron and whoever else is interested in its whereabouts

Sounds about right Dave, 15K was about right for me back then, if i'd had the cash (and known it was up for auction) i would have been EXTREMELY tempted. The bodykit is the gold mine here. If you were going to run the car then for your own peace of mind if nothing else, you would need to approach a ...

Re: Trim Codes

Given the three paint codes we know - 106, 109 & 110 i would hazard a guess and say that the other three are 105,107 & 108 (to fill in the blanks), but i don't know which ones are which - here's what i have so far... Quantity---Colour------Paint Code----Trim Code 25------Crystal White 75-----Vibrant...

Re: Trim code 'L'

Thanks guys, looking into it further, it does indeed appear to be a TF 160 trim level and not related to an LE/SE model sadly. I was getting excited there, i thought i was going to be able to identify another LE/SE from the VIN.

Re: Happy birthdays...

Mad really, i take a photo in a restaurant in Wimbish, Essex.

I send it to Dieter in Germany.

He posts it on the forum.

I read the post and see the picture at home in Essex, about 8 miles form where it was taken.

Travelled a long way that starter!

It was lovely, yum! :P

Trim code 'L'

Been going through the Archive and found a few Sprints with the trim code 'L' in the VIN - would anyone know if this means that all cars with this trim code are Sprints?

Re: Handbrake switch/wire.

Not really, you can try lifting the bin out of the cubby bin as this gives the best access into the transmission tunnel, but beyond this you are looking at trying to pick it up elsewhere or removal of the transmission tunnel.

Re: MGTF Remote boot release

Mine too, but as it is an emergency thing in my car, it's not a problem for me. I take it you use yours for convenience too? If so have you thought about maybe fitting a sprung loaded handle (like the internal door pull for instance)? This may help with the lever not returning under it's own steam.
