Do You Ever Wish You Hadn't Started Something?

It all started out as a way to I'mprove the handling in my TF. To start with I bought Mike Satur's comfort suspension, fitted by Jeremy and the guys over a Surrey Sports & Classics. The car was lowered by 12mm and we had the four wheel alignment as well. It was ok but developed a weaving which turne...

WANTED - Adjustable Front Top Mounts

I need to alter the castor on my TF because, as a result of lowering the ride height, it is now out and affecting the handling. The solution is to fit adjustable top mounts but can't seem to find any.

Any ideas or help please.

Re: Think That's Enough Mods For the Moment

That's a really nice spec you've got there. To take the tuning much further will start to cost a lot of money, but you could consider a 4-2-1 manifold which work really nicely on the MPi engines (TF115/TF135) - although there is debate as to their benefits on the VVCs. Thanks but I am struggling to...

Re: TF Tyres

Interesting thread and i have just fitted Toyos to my TF160. However I am a little confused as to what the tyre pressures should be. On Rob Bell's website it states 26F/28R, the instruction book states 26F/36R and Adrian above states 28F/36R. I know that TFs are sensitive to pressures and I am havin...

Re: Major handling problem

I had major problems with my TF and it turned out to be a rear wheel bearing. The car felt that she was oversteering into right handers and above 60 the rear end fishtailed. Car is 04 and has done 14,000 miles. Now replaced and the car handles great.

Pike Peaks Record Run by Sebastian Loeb

Well worth watching this video if you've got 9 minutes to spare. Make sure it is the onboard version as it really shows the drops on either side and the surface. Interesting that Loeb hardly moves his hands from between the 10 to 2 and quarter to 3 on the wheel. IN addition check out his heart rate ...

Re: Suspension Upgrade - TF

Very nice Webby, what is the ride height front and back (in mm's from the underside of the wheel arches to the centre of the hub cap) ? How much adjustment can you get from highest to lowest ? I'm more than happy with the Bilstein kit but it's always nice to know of other options. Not sure really b...
