VVC alloys on an xPower grey TF
Hello, would VVC alloys fit on a 2004 TF135? I've got 16 wheels on at the moment. Has anyone got a picture of how they would look against a grey body. I quite like the alloy style and am tempted to change my body coloured ones.

I've an ex Audi cabrio cassette player that is kicking around the garage loft... proper retro

Sounds stupid but did you check you've been given the right battery - it might be struggling to turn a mighty 1.8 if it expects a 1.1... and of course it's a bout 10 foot of cables away..

Ouch indeed. I'm normally the one who buys a little lemon and then spends a lot fixing it up before selling it at a loss.
I'm certain yours will look superb when you've got it back.

Re: what have you done on your mgf today?
I missed the MGF and despite the back thing (what the heck, I can always take painkillers) I bought a green VVC this morning via the Bay of E. It failed a recent MOT on emissions only, so I guess I have joined the 'Dirty Club' You can't keep an MGF owner down it would seem... so what was that...

Be aware that it is highly likely that a UK Hire Car CANNOT be taken abroad. I would suggest that this be checked. Geoff F. Old info that used to be the case but now there is little restriction. Re: MGF V8 anyone?
Now that would sound lovely, S&S Preparations in Ramsbottom put a "good" v8 in my old TR7 DHC - it wasn't much faster but it sure sounded lovely. I think in standard 3.5 form they are around 135 BHP but ohh the torque. A 4.6 would probably be the right size and price to start with.

Alternatively you could turn up to a natter evening and spend an hour thumbing through another TF owners copy, I would imagine its not going to be an exciting read ;-) Ohh you're quite mistaken, it's an enthralling read with twists and turns indeed it speaks volumes. I'd go with the breaking cars o...

Garage stored - top up or down?
I've always left my soft top cars with the roof up in the garage - or indeed overnight. The rationale was that it was better to keep the roof stretched taut etc... bearing in mind that it can be two weeks between drives... However the F seems to get a sticky roof if it's left up. So what's the board...
