No, it just flattens the beam for temporary European use, it doesn't kick it over to the right like a proper LHD light, so it won't pass the ITV.

Re: centre console sticky covering

My yellow console had the same covering on it. I just scraped the covering off with a Stanley blade, it didn't take long.

I just bought a spare one :) but I've cut it up now

Re: Importing a TF to Spain

Leaving it there, ITV is the Spanish equivalent of MOT, but much stricter.

Importing a TF to Spain

I'm thinking about taking a TF to a holiday home in Spain. Has anyone done this or can offer any advice? My own car is quite modified with miltek exhaust & lowered on eibach/ xpower springs, along with a few other bits that can be got around quite easily. Would this be a problem with the ITV or am I...

Is the positive side permanent? The switch is built into the boot lock.

Re: Should my Mgtf have central locking

Have a google. If the wiring is in the doors i think you just have to fit the switches from a car with cl into your doors.

ooooh, can of worms.

I'll grab a biccy & watch

Personally I prefer the look of the TF & the drive of the F, but to be honest unless really pushing on I found very little difference.

From memory it can be retrofitted, you might be able to find the parts if you look hard enough :thumbsu:

pop one out & take it to a local parts shop & they'll sort out the right bulbs for you.

or

From memory it's a T5 12v 5w capless bulb. I could be wrong though :D

Don't forget to throw these 3 bolts away & never refit them again.

Re: Advice re: issues with recently acquired TF160

I'd say 80 -90% of the vvcs I've seen are a little noisy to some extent. Normal spanners will sort the bolts for the cross braces, they are the same bolts you'll need to undo to look at the top of the engine. Water in the fluid will make the pedal feel spongy. Re: Changing the radiator

It's very simple, from memory:

Undo the 10mm bolts on the slam panel, reach down & disconnect the pipe from rad, lift rad out, swap fan onto new rad & refit everything. or if you're replacing the pipes just cut them off.

I bought all my pipes separately so can't help with a kit sorry.
