Re: EAMGF CHARITY RUN
Good you got press coverage for the event. Can do nothing but help your region out and maybe get others interested in joining the fun.
Hope you both will still be speaking to us now though, now that you are both 'stars'

Silverstone race fixture
The latest race schedule for the meeting is shown below. [updated 7th June] The races at the 'close of application' look as if they have will have filled grids in the main - 370 cars without the entries for races 3 & 10 and they normally turn up with full grids too. Still space for a few late comers...

Midlands Sunday lunch - June 29th
With such a busy month on the MG front, it looks like it will be hard to fit in a Sunday lunch but we could have a late, late June meet on the 29th if that suits people. Another new venue to try, thanks to Alan & Jeanette :) Old Irish Harp Aldridge, Walsall, WS9 0LP 12:00 meet up. It will be good to...

Re: May pub natter
Pub looks good Jeanette. Straight to the dessert/pudding menu for me :D Not sure if we can fit a Sunday meet in June with Silverstone coming up? We could aim for the 29th - a late, late June natter - or there is the 22nd if people are not going to the MG in the trees event. What does every one think?

Re: June events
Have to admit that breakfast was more than excellent :thumbsu: We will have to ensure all our runs and meets start from there. lol I too have more pics of animals than cars. Having problems getting them off the camera tonight via the card reader. I also seem to have lost my lead to get them directly...

Re: June events
Cheers Geoff. Hoped if we were there at 9:00 we would be ok for a table but better to be safe than sorry. I would have hated to have missed my breakfast if they were busy.

Re: New MGF Owner
Not us in Kinver. See this thread area for our meets. Off to the Cotswolds Wildlife Park this Sunday. A grand day out if the sun shines with 300-400 MG's of all ages but will be a good turn out of F/TF's.

Re: June events
10:00 start for the show.
Even though been there before still can't remember how long it is to get there but expect an hour or so unless we go off track again like the first year. Note to oneself, do not turn off to Cotwolds Farm Park

Re: June events
Shame Pete. I am sure at times the garages just like to keep hold of our cars just for a laugh or to keep them on show. lol. All that engine work I had, the car was only worked on for such a short period of hours compared to the weeks they had it. Lucky for my bank account though. It looks like it m...

Re: New MGF Owner
Welcome Pete. The cooling system on the F is proberly the main issue with the car. Small capacity system with plenty of hoses to take coolant from engine to radiator gives plenty of places to leak and set up air locks. It is well worth keeping an eye on coolant levels etc with out being over zealous...

Re: 1st June'08 MG Day Cotswold Wildlife Park
Hopefully you will have another 3 or 4 cars to add to the list from the midlands region. Steve, ChrisT, PeteV? & myself should be there assuming we can drag ourselves away from a full english breakfast which we are planning to have on the way down :thumbsu: Colintf (260) Gordon & Peggy Pam and Norma...

Re: Wet weather blues....
What a day Mike. There is nothing worse than problems with the car (and I should Know) but when it occurs in horrid weather too it makes it seem much worse. You need to blow those blues away with a good run in the car now to forget the problem day (assuming your starting problems don't reoccur). A g...

Re: June events
If it is raining too much I might just stay at Hill Top until they start serving lunch
We must be due another good day for a run
An early breakfast, 9:15 ish, so if the weather is good we can still get down to the Wildlife Park in good time?

Re: June events
English breakfast is always a good way to start the day off Chris & it will give you a good trial run Pete if you are mobile again :thumbsu: It looks like Hill Top is open for breakfast between 9:00 & 11:00 before they revert to lunch so plenty of time to get to MG's in the Park after which opens at...
