18th April - Easter Bunny Blast
"News Flash Start Finalised"
Yes that's right we have the set the start point as RH1 5YP Redhill Aerodrome!
there is a nice café that serves Hot & cold drinks & food "Chef on the Road". They open way to early so we have set the meet up time at 9ish and for Tim the time we are hoping to set off is 10am. so basically if you fancy breakfast get there early!
Just to help you decide The run will be going from Redhill Aerodrome to Newhaven Fort

price to get in is £6
After we have looked around the fort we will be going to the Juggs Pub for a meal at 2.30pm
http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/pubs/lewes/juggs for the menu

Add Kev to the list.
I've been to Newhaven Fort previously with "another MG club" - there were over 30 cars that day, and they let us park inside the fort .......

Re: 18th April - Easter Bunny Blast
latest news is we can not book the pub but we can still go there! And as the weather should be nice! We will be able to sit outside. And it means we are more flexible with times.

Re: 18th April - Easter Bunny Blast
WOW! what a wonderful day! thank you Paul B and Rob for the surprise start of Redhill Aerodrome, a wonderful place, could have spent all of the day there..and then a great drive through the country to another surprise Newhaven Fort (well after I got lost for a while) and turning up last out of 16 F and TF's:oops: I have lived in Sussex all my life and never been to the Fort, and to round it all up a great lunch with my fellow MG'ers such good company..thanks Paul & Rob for organizing a day I will never forget
