Yes I havn't been to this for a couple of years now , at least I don't remember going last year, and in 2010 we were in Geneva! So it's probably time to reactivate this one. We'll find a meeting point closer to the date - I seem to remember meeting up at the A3 Wisley Services before.

Time to begin getting this one together then particualry as we've been invited to lunch bythe South Coast Region at the Dolphin and they will need to know numbers soon.

I'd suggest we meet up on the A3 again probably at the A3 services southbound at Wisley like we have done on previous jaunts to darkest Hampshire.

So who is coming ?

Marty (possibly if he no longer has HGf - it is over a month away still!)

We ned to be careful here as there may be too many to go for Sunday lunch at the Dolphin and we don't want to over run the pub ! As it was the MGCC South East that were invited by the South Coast group - any member on this forum who wants to do so should put their names on the South Coast forum list. There is food and drink and raffle tickets etc available at Hursley Park Social Club for anyone that doesn't want to go to the pub.

There's not a lot of parking at the A3 Wisley services so it will probably be better to meet up at our other usual meeting point of the woods at Ockham where there is a cafe, toilets etc. Come off the M25 at junct 10 head for Guildford and turn left just past the layby when you are on the slip road for the A3 - the car park entrance is then immediately on the left for those that may not know it. Meet up 9 to 9.30am aiming to get away by about 9.45 arriving at Hursley about 10.45 or so.

Thanks Tim.

Just to clarify, I spoke to the Dolphin about numbers before I went public and they are happy to accommodate the number I imagine we will get from the SCRR and SEF regulars. There is a small degree of wriggle room either side of the agreed figure but I need to let them know reasonably early - hence the deadline of the 22nd Feb. They usually get very busy on a Sunday lunchtime so it's understandable and hence my desire to keep this to our regular members.

Looking forward to seeing you all on our local turf. Don't forget to add your name to the list in the South Coast forum. :thumbsu:
