Fairmile Meet - Thursday 21st Feb

Post by TimM » Sun Feb 17, 2008 12:28 pm

Yes it's leaped upon us once more and it's time for the next Fairmile meet already.

This Thursday usual time 8 - 8.30pm ish. Fairmile Pub Portsmouth Road Cobham Surrey

Now this time I think we have a Natter invasion in reverse as the MGCCSE Ripley Natter will be visiting the Fairmile this Thursday as well so there will be some older MGs this time. I don't think they know we meet there so it will probably come as a bit of a surprise !

:D

Oh and don't forget that FooF is available as Paul can testify with a mountain of the stuff last time. :)

I think boules maybe a bit difficult, unless Paul lets us use his Headlights....

I'll be there, provided Claire isn't about to give birth!

Me too might not be in the F though depends on MOT. brakes now fixed thanks to Peter Wayte of car serve 01483 /07886909695. He now works from Goldsworth Park. Picked the car up did the job & rtnd car in 24 hours. He also pumped up the suspension to full Paris - Dakar spec for £30. Sounds like he can do a good deal on servicing too he quoted much less than anyone else for a full service on a colleagues Z S & has a proper MG/Rover stamp for the service record. See you all Thursday :)

A select evening meet this time ! Even the MGCC were hiding - didn't see them all evening until right at the end when we spotted a TD and something older in the car park and a similar amount of South Easters leaving.

Think we'll give the Farimle Meet a rest for a bit and concentrate on Bowling on the 6th, Go Karting on the 16th and Bunny Blasting on the 24th March which should keep us going !

:D
