Monthly pub meet?

thinking out loud here, and wondering if there is enough interest in starting a monthly (mid week?) pub meet somewhere within the Glos / Avon / Wilts area??

Generally speaking Thursday's are out for me and the fourth Tuesday. Other than that should be OK pending any business trips!

not exactly on Mike's, Geoff's or my doorstep, but....


just on from Castle Combe, The Bell Inn at Yatton Keynell is where some of us met up for the usual pre Castle Combe Stroke Association Charity Day gathering that we have.

The food is fantastic and not expensive. I had a pheasant starter (£4.95) and a huge portion of curry (£10.95) which they made from scratch for me as they had sold out that evening.

Certainly well worth trying sometime
