MGF20 will be held at the Heritage Motor Museum, Gaydon to celebrate the 20th birthday of the MGF on the 1st August 2015.
The event will include the cars, the people, camping and music.
The show will be on Saturday 1st August 2015 with trade stands, show car displays, lectures, competitions and other entertainment on the day.
The evening will include live entertainment and a Glo Car competition. Camping will be available on the Friday and Saturday night.
Further details once confirmed will be posted on http://www.mgf20.info and on here.
Our MGF20 event partners for the event are
Church Square Autos http://www.churchsquareautos.com and
Martin Smith http://www.usedmgtfspares.co.uk
Ticket prices are still to be confirmed but the ticket will include one vehicle entrance to the show, one entrance ticket to the museum, vehicle sticker, show programme and entrance to the evening entertainment. Extra museum tickets will be available at a reduced price.
Tickets will go on sale via our online shop in the very near future. Advanced ticket price will provide a good discount on the gate ticket prices.
Camping will be extra and this will be paid direct to the Heritage Museum.
On Sunday we are planning a road run to the MG Motors Factory at Longbridge, where the Sales Centre will open specially for our arrival.

Jacqueline and I are hoping to make it. Still awaiting ferry prices from Condor Ferries. I wonder how much they will have gone up with the new ferry coming into service in March for the Channel Islands to Poole route. New ferry too big to dock in Weymouth.

I read it as main event on Saturday, with a run or something being looked at currently for the Sunday, but that's to be confirmed.
I am sure to be corrected if I am wrong, but hope that helps

The main show day is the Saturday.
Like with MGF10 & MGF15, MGF20 is a one day show but this time it is happening on the Saturday instead of the Sunday.
Next year we have added camping on the night before the show day so people can arrive early and after the show so there is no need to rush away early.
What ever happens on the Sunday will be moving away from the Heritage Motor Museum so there will be nothing to see at the museum that day.

At the moment it seems to be only a 1 day event, which would be a shame.
For people not coming from UK it might be uninteresting to travel a long way.
Hopefully detailed information will be announced soon, so people know about prices and
what exactly will happen.
Otherwise a lot will just come over for the Saturday and drive back home in the evening.

MGF20 Tickets are now on sale via our online shop
MGF20 Show Tickets
The MGF20 show ticket price will be £15 per car for entrance to the show
The advance show ticket price includes
entrance to the show for one car, one museum entrance ticket, vehicle sticker, show programme and entrance to the evening entertainment.
Extra advanced museum entrance tickets for passengers are available at the discounted price of £7.00 each
Closing date for advanced tickets is 30th June 2015
Tickets will be available on the day at a show price of £20 per car and extra museum ticket at £8.00. CASH only
Camping will be available onsite from late Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.
The camping tickets have gone live on the Heritage Motor Museum site Buy your camping tickets
The advanced ticket price is £25 for one night or £34 for two. This price covers the price per unit, be it a tent or caravan and is not per person.
The camping meadow has changed significantly since our last visit. The meadow has turned into a road way for driver trials with good grassed areas in between. As the area may be in use for other activities, arrival on the Friday afternoon has to be after 16:00 hours. We have access to the camping area until 16:00 on the Sunday afternoon. The area will be marshaled by a Gaydon security guard though out the weekend. There is now a purpose built shower block within the main camping area. The toilet block is still in the same place and is a short walk from the camping zone.
Camping passes will be available on the day, but rise to £31 per night and £40 for two nights.
All MG types are welcome but the focus of the event will be on the MGF/TF.
We are asking for car details on the online shop page to help us in understanding what cars are turning up and to help in the planning of the car parking.
Please note:
One show ticket is required per car for entry to event.
Children under 5 get in free. Children aged 5 to 16 require museum ticket for entry if required.
The show and museum tickets along with the vehicle sticker will be sent out closer to the event.
The show programme will be collected at the show by a coupon sent out with the tickets.
Further details once confirmed will be posted on
http://www.mgf20.info

There's no mention of camping on the site...do we pay on the day and how much is it?

Camping will be available from late Friday afternoon until Sunday morning within the Gaydon grounds.
Still confirming details with Gaydon. They will be taking the payment for this direct as they need to supply extra security for the campsite/front gate for the weekend. Advanced payment may/will get you a cheaper deal but I suspect payment on the day will be allowed.
Once the details have been confirmed with Gaydon, I will publish the costs and web link here.
