My biggest issues are the Police, i left this in the hands of Tim, and will get an update from him at the Committee meeting on Saturday, i understand that an MSA Exemption Certificate has been applied for and that it should be a formality. We are going to be VERY conspicuous!!
The other one is keeping this lot together and moving. I am going to be pace car, but if someone has a problem, i can't stop the convoy. Also, 50mph at the front of the convoy will feel quite slow, but for people at the back, catching up, they may have to do silly speeds. I am concerned about Clacketts Lane services too, although i think we shall need to regroup by this stage, getting this many cars off and more importantly on again together will be problematic. There is also the issue of other road users, i need to keep us all moving, and people in the convoy need to let others on and off the motorway. There will also be other road users who will deliberately try to split us up i think, mainly because we are such a big group and they may feel frustrated when trying to overtake us.
I've never done anything on this scale before, it's going to be quite an experience!
