M25 Arctic Circle Run - POSTPONED

Can people keep bumping this one to the top today please, i don't want anyone risking their cars because they didn't see this thread.

It is with a heavy heart that i am having to postpone the run until Friday 13th February i.e. next Friday.

I think the M25 will be fine, but i don't want people risking life and limb getting to and from.

This is the wisest course of action i feel. :(

I have no idea where this leaves us with the MSA Exemption Certificate (it is dated), we may not be able to get a replacement in time (fingers crossed).

In the mean time, a show of hands please for people who can make next Friday (13th) please...

Just realised the new date - Friday the 13th. Not that I am superstitious but I have just written one car off :thumbsu:

We are dissapointed of course, but feel you are right to postpone. Northampton hit quite hard by snow as you will be aware.

More to come I believe. As stated before, all that grit and salt not good for our 'Babies'........

Never mind, antisipation is half the pleasure, roll on the 13th.

Whilst I'm disappointed, as I'm sure many of us are, the decision is understandably the right one under the circumstances and I would like to thank Andy and the team for making it and doing so in plenty of time to warn everyone. :thumbsu:

Is it just me that finds it slightly ironic that that the Arctic Circle Run has been postponed due to Arctic conditions? :lol:

Let's hope this can go ahead soon when the weather is a bit more favorable. As for next Friday I can't commit at the moment but should know more by the end of this evening. I'm hoping that I should be able to make it still. I'll confirm later on.

I am absolutely gutted!!! I totally understand with the conditions. I had everything ready for my first function with the MGf gang. And I can't make it on the 13th as I have a Charity Cancer Ball that evening!!!
