2010 Arctic Circle Run!! 5th February (Friday)

Great night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. As always met some great folk. 60 MGF/TFs with the roof down on the M25 is a truly awesome sight.

Fantastic work on the fund raising as well. Reached the target for the year in the first event.

Have to say a big thanks to Andy for organising the event, Adrian for the great comms last night, and a special thanks to Keith and Damien for keeping this event on track over the last few weeks. Cheers all.

We were also joined by another F on the M27. Not sure if he/she was returning from the ACR.

Well been working since 08.30 renovating a house did not fini till 8pm so knackerd now could pretty much sum me up... Well a hardy thanks to all involved, and a congratulations to all that took part and making this years ACR a success.. I seriously was looking forward to this and .... yes it was like being on X-Box 360...... ok well im normally in a ferrari or Lotus Excige... but thats anothe story..! Spot on with the timing Adrian, Andy and John... I as everyone else im sure had a great time last night.

Thanks for letting me know, Damien. It was definitely working at Fleet on the way up cos we were standing behind the car chatting and it was alright then. Must have happened somewhere en route. Lee pointed it out at Fleet on the way home.

I've got some spares so will change it today. Thanks for pointing it out though.

I took a few photos on Friday night, but my camera's a relatively cheap point and shoot one, so they're not great... Still, here's the link in case anyone wants to take a look!

I (well, my passenger!) also took a video going through the Dartford Tunnel which turned out reasonably well! Certainly lots of nice engine sounds in there, especially right at the end when I'm leaving the tunnel.

Yes saw the Audi, v nice maybe one day!!

The F i dont think was with us as he went off at Jct 11 with me, I think he had a hard top on and when i did the ''MG wave'' there was no response!!

Friday night is just as exciting telling everyone about it with comments like you must be mad etc. Agree with Damien about a video game.

Still tired though!!

I just watched Bigfoot's you tube video of this event from this year - looked excellent.

Is this a yearly event as i'd like to get involved next time if that's the case.

It is an event that has been run over the last two year's in it's current form.

It's too early to say at this time whether we will be running it again next year.
