MGFifteen: 1st August

Post by Keith Williams » Fri Jul 02, 2010 5:34 pm

Less than a month to go now to MGF15, so who is going to the event from the midlands region?

We are in need of some cars and ideas for a regional paddock display. This year we really must one together to show off the region so we can help publice the region and try to get more members turning up dfor our local events. If you have any ideas for a display for up to 6 cars please PM them to either Steve or myself, so we don't give the other areas any ideas ahead of the day. Still time to put a good stand together.

This will be the last big show like Fest for a while so don't miss out. We need to make a good show on the day especially as the Gaydon is in our area.

Well i will be there - better be as I am helping organise it and Steve & Ally should be there too, so who else?

Any one camping on the Saturday?

List of attendees

Keith - camping
Steve & Alison - camping?
Roger
Alan & Jeanette
PeteV
Softly-softly - Jan & son
Pete & Caroline - camping

Numbers starting to grow nicely. Hope all your thinking hats are on for our regional paddock. Hope your minds are working better than mine

Be good to catch up with you all. Much easier to do at MGFifteen rather than MGLive for me to catch up with people :thumbsu:

See you all tomorrow.

ZT loaded ready to roll down to Gaydon to set up the show today.

I will be back in the F for tomorrow as Steve & Ali have got something 'special' arranged for our paddock display and after I suggested we should have the display thought the F could not miss out on the day.

We was robbed
It was an excellent paddock display and thanks to Steve & Ali for all their hard work in putting it together. Did not see it until late in the day but I was well impressed. Just needed the kids to be the judges and we would have won it hands down :thumbsu:
Thanks to Roger who looked after the North run into Gaydon on the Sunday.
Also, a big thanks to Steve who took all my stuff back to his house which saved me a double trip back to mine to change cars. I will pick it up soon - honest
I think I saw most of you but to those I missed seeing sorry. It was just a little hectic day yesterday.
Big thanks to Caroline for the cake. Sorry you all missed out on a piece but it was cut as the last thing we did before we left the camp site at the end of the day. It soon disappeared :D

It was just too busy a day for me for us all to get together at once. We should have had a meeting around the paddock sometime during the day and we all could have had a piece. It was very nice though. I know the rest of the organising team enjoyed it. A great suger boost just before the long drive home for some of them. Next time we meet up I will bring a long something to compensate.
