FBHVC Drive It Day 2013 is on Sunday 21st April.

I was thinking of re-running the last main HoE run on Sunday the 21st if there is any interest.

The run will be starting close to the M40 junction in Warwick and will stop off at Broadway Tower for a short time before completing the run to finish at Sudeley Castle.

If anyone is interested please post here :thumbsu:

1. Keith
2. Alan & Julie
3. Geoff & Ann
4. Steve & Alison
5. Andy and Caroline
6. JanT
7. Mandy and Alan
8. Craig

Jan, this will be limited to 12 cars only.

It is a last minute event and it is an informal run as neither Broadway Tower or Sudeley Castle know we are coming, but as it has been run before, there will a route book supplied.

Keith I have a few questions

Is this limited to members only @

What does the FBHVC stand for - Am I missing something ?

Also why only 12 cars ?

The run is not limited to members only :thumbsu:

FBHVC = Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs, More information can be found via their web site at http://www.fbhvc.co.uk/heritage-culture ... ve-it-day/

We only run with a small number of cars unless we take out MSA certificates of exemptions which allow us to run with more cars.

The run will be starting from the 'Breakfast Junction' which is at the Warwick By pass (A46) services South bound. This is before the M40 island if you are travelling from Coventry. If you are arriving via the M40 island towards Coventry, there is a junction just past the services on the North bound road to turn around to come back to the start point.

I can not promise that the Breakfast Junction can supply breakfasts like Hill Top but I will be giving them a go.

Run to start at 10:00 ish.
If you fancy a breakfast, either sit in or take away, please arrive in time to feed yourself first :thumbsu:

Mandy and Alan are a definite as their car passed her MOT today .. YAY

The breakfasts there are FAB, I have tried them ~Grins~

I will be bringing my new car on this run, she is being delivered this afternoon, so it will be a lovely way to introduce her to MG runs ..

Craig is also a definite now Keith ..

Are dogs allowed into the Castle ?
Are we having food at the end of the day ?

Could you bring me one of those kit things I bought at Stoneleigh along if there are any left, and an F register wind screen sticker x2 please ?

Thanks

Sorry, dogs are not allowed on castle grounds. More details on Sudeley can be found via their website http://www.sudeleycastle.co.uk/home

On Sunday they have a Tudor Fun Day so there should be a little more to see than usual.

It is a last minute, flexible day, to allow people to go as they please from Sudeley, so no meal has been arranged.

Has been a few years since I did this route but I think most lanes have tarmac ;)
When we put the route together for the original HoE run, I could have done it with my eyes shut in the end as I ran it so many times to check the run out  Eyes will be open tomorrow though :)
The last time I did the front end down to Broadway was the Christmas run I did in the snow on my own a couple of year ago. Hopefully, no snow tomorrow :thumbsu:
See you for breakfast :thumbsu:
