Hope you both have a good run home
By the time you get back, hopefully the snow will have gone from here. I am bored with it all ready

Open to suggestions for the 13th. Few that come to mind:
Plough at Eathorpe
Three horseshoes at Princethorpe
Red Lion at Hunningham
Blue lias
Stag at Offchurch......

Might have to see what weather is doing next week as it seems this cold spell is with us for some time
I am easy as you know when it comes to food Steve
If it is the Plough, I will need to starve myself for a day or two, to give that mixed grill my best this time and still have room for pudding
We can't go to the Stag as you won't get a chance to drive

Is the venue sorted for tomorrow night? or do I have to cook myself?
Looks like we will loose this white stuff at last so normal service can return to enjoying the F again

Geoff has posted on here but that does not mean they are home. Thought they were back Monday for an ice show that night?
If this white stuff does not clear fast today, I probably wont make it tonight. Car still safely tucked up in the garage today again. Another week of no dustbin collection? Not had one since before xmas if so. Some in the street missed that one too as they bought it forward a day

Had 2 attempts at climbing the hill up to the main road this morning but didn't make it, so reversed down and back into the drive.
Not looking too good for a natter tonight as its still coming down.
Will take a wander up the the main road later and see if its cleared any.

Al has spoken to Techspeed this afternoon (as her car is there today), and it sounds like the roads in Eathorpe village are not good, so getting to from the Plough may be a problem.
Do you want to postpone or try somewhere else?
Three horseshoes @ Princethorpe is just off a main-ish road so may be a better option, or we can wait till next week and see what the weather brings?

Leaving it till next week seems a good idea to me. Can leave the car in the garage then and put my feet up infront of the fire. Only down side is will have to cook or may be pick a take away up on the way home.

We travelled up from Strasburgh on Friday. We had planned to overnight at Ashford but were in Folkestone by 2.30 PM so kept going before it snowed again and were home by 5.30. It is time for me to stop doing 540 Miles of winter driving in a day.
We are OK for anywhere this evening. S & A, we can pick you up if you would prefer not to drive. Perhaps K may decide the easiest/preferable for him as he has furthest to drive.

The roads around the Red Lion in Hunningham aren't actually too bad- it's a bus route so it gets a good gritting (ooer) regularly!

Thanks for that but the problem was the roads nearer to home....
So, are we re-arranged for next Wednesday(20th)?
