Hi,
I'm new to the MGF scene having just bought a 1998 MGF Abingdon a couple of weeks ago and looking for some advice from the experts...
All is good (great in fact !! ) with the car - apart from the fact that the front bumper has a couple of areas of flaking paint. Also has some very fine cracks to the paint.
Should I try to get hold of a replacement bumper on fleabay ?(none around in Brooklands Green right now as far as I can tell), or am I better off getting it sanded and resprayed instead ?
If the general concensus is to go the respray route, can anyone recommend someone in the Cambridge area who will do a decent job but won't charge the earth ??
Pics attached so that you can see what I mean....

Re: Front bumper flaking paint
Hi Merv and welcome.
I'm not going to be a lot of help for Cambridge area body shops but I believe you think you should get your current bumber refinished. You could wait months for a replacement in the right colour band still want to get some damage corrected.
