MGFest

Post by Dave_T » Thu Jul 23, 2009 9:36 am

I know Kieron & Mark are away, but is anyone else going to MGFest this year?
We were thinking of going up on the Sunday.

Dave & Rhona.

I'll be there, I'm working. I know Andy will be too. I guess Emma will be as well.

I've been asked to try to get a team ready for the games, is anyone up for this?

Need 6-8 people if possible. Apparently there is mobility scooter racing this year!

I'm working a bit on the Sunday, not sure how this will affect my ability to enter at the moment, plus i'm singing with the Engine Room of the Apocalypse too! Don't ask...

Still, if i'm available i'm up for it, anyone else?

I'm working too, so I can't really say either.

Well, looks like i am marshalling the team games (something called 'beer pong" ) so it means i won't be able to compete sadly - getting a team together is going to be tricky i think...

Not sure what 'beer pong' is but it is not a Team Game Andy. It is one of the side stall events. I am marshaling 'Gliders' at the same time as you, what ever that happens to be? :)

So you still have a chance to enter the Team games, no excuse

Your marshaling time though might affect your singing time - clash for the start :sf:

2:15pm - EROTA Karaoke!

Team games are at 11:45am, so i think i'm going to be available, although it looks like i'm going to miss most, if not all of the talks :(

Ian Pogson is talking at 11.45 so I'm not missing that so I'll get to the CP early and put in my time and ask to leave 20 minutes ealry  .
