Long time away Guys and Gals I know, but planning is the key to success,

Run name: Torbay and South Hams run. :thumbsu:

Date: 28th April 2013.

Meet at Exeter Services at 10:30 for 11:00 start.

Head off on a route to be divulged on the day.

Stop for Sunday lunch at a secret location on the outskirts of Torbay at 12.15/12.30.

Leave Sunday lunch location at 14.00/14.30 continue run out of Torbay and into South Hams.

Arrive at a second location to be divulged on the day at approximately 15.30/16.00 for afternoon Cream Tea’s, coffee's or what ever takes your fancy and take in the coastal views before departing for home.

Total distance of run from Exeter services 51.8 miles

Steve and Bee

PS: Run does NOT include a visit to the famous Torbay palm tree

Hi Steve and Bee,

I was looking at 2013 event dates, and so long as the BTCC dates don't change, should be good for this one, which is good, as it sounds a great day out :thumbsu:

Wendy and I will be up for this one.

I saw the much publicised palm tree a couple of times last week. I'm hoping that the run will include it, we could all drive around the roundabout two or three times so that we could have a good look at it.

Also don't know if anyone shared my disappointment, when I opened the latest issue of Safety Fast there was no mention or photo of a certain gentleman from Tiverton!

We'll see you on the 28th.

added you to the list, but keep an eye on the forum here, as the format of the day / run may well change 8-)

      Yes, Keith you're right.

I had to go through the magazine twice just to make sure.

I have however written to the editor to point out this glaring error.

Perhaps Safety Fast should find some space for 'Members Blogs' if a certain Tivertonian took it up we could all be kept up to speed on his adventures!

Hello, I own a 2009 MGTF LE500 and live in Exmouth. Do I need to be a member of the MGCC to take part in these MGF register events? Pls reply to: jimferrisdrumstyle@yahoo.co.uk. Many thanks,

You'd be made more then welcome on any of our events or evening 'Natters', we're a great bunch of enthusiasts.

You dont have to be a member, but there are big advantages of becoming a member of the MGCC - cheaper insurance being one of them.

If your thinking of the 28th April Run, please keep a check on this thread as we aren't sure of the status of this run at the moment.

Look forward to meeting you (and your LE500) :)
