English Riveria Classic Car Show

Post by HenryB » Mon Jul 08, 2013 7:43 pm

Hi all,
I am an Essex MGCC member. As a 60th birthday treat I am planning on spending a few days in Devon, the 28-30th of July this year to be exact. I have booked into the Palace Hotel at Paignton.
Whilst scanning various classic car show websites, I have discovered that the English Riveria Classic Car Show is being held in Paignton on the 28th July, the day I arrive. To cap it the Palace Hotel seems to be right next door! This was not planned in anyway.
It seems a very good show.
I have various MG's including a MGA Coupe, TD, and MGF.
Just wonder if any other events may be on during the period of 28-30th July, or other attractions for a car nut.
Unfortunately not planning on coming down in a MG.
As I will be coming down with a female companion, I cannot just disappear for hours on end, however much I would like.
Perhaps get round to having a chat with a few members and their cars.
Regards
Henry

Hi Henry
Enjoy the weekend and the show

The whole coastline is great to explore regardless of by on foot or by car

Cheers Colin.
Was planning a relaxing weekend, and with a car show down the road, what more do I want.
I want to visit Sidmouth, as it seems very olde worlde or a step back in time.
Its been nearly 40 years since down that way, so am expecting alot of changes.
May extend stay by a day or two.
Regards
Henry
