Possible Convoy to Thruxton on 5th May

Post by Dingbat » Fri Apr 26, 2013 10:37 am

Hi, all.

I'm just wondering how many of us are heading to Thruxton for the BTCC next Sunday and if there's an appetite for a bit of a convoy.

I'll be leaving from Exeter services at about 7:15 if anyone fancies joining me there or meeting up en-route.

What do you all think?

Regards

Brian

Dont finish work til 7ish, so it'll be 8:30 before we go mobile (taking the Ford) :o

    Hopefully see you there.

(Only ordered our tickets this week as I had to wait to make sure Lee could get the day off from work).

    Hi Brian,
We have a car load form Barnstaple and one from Tiverton, leaving Tivvy at 07:30, neither are MGFs / TF though! Happy to meet up at Jn27 A361 layby before slip on to M5 if you wish, say 07:40??
What do you think? May be some others further up towards Taunton way too.

    Hi, all.

I was thinking about taking the A30 and then A303. Possibly meet up with you at the Ilminster services, Steve.

Ilminster services to Thruxton has to be less than an hour, so how about meeting there and ready to set off for 8:15?

Ruth, I don't know where you're coming from, but you're welcome to join us along the way of you can.

Can I suggest a bit of a change of itinerary for this one to save stopping at a few different services?

As we are coming from all points of the compass, can we all meet in the layby east of the A350 on the A303. This is where Ruth is coming up from Poole and should catch the rest of us.

        Say 08:30??

        Who is meeting up?

        Ruth

Add me to the list, but as per my f/b post, nearer to 8:45.

P.s with three people coming, I won't be in the TF. Look out for the grey product of the Munich motor works.

        Regards
